Chapter 9
- The sun was rising on the horizon as I ran through the forest, returning after another intensive training session with Lisa. I jumped through my bedroom window and returned to human form. I took a quick shower and, as I opened my wardrobe, I heard Lisa growl when I reached for my usual uniform.
- "Okay!" I replied, grabbing the only pair of uniforms I had bought in my actual size. I combed my hair, put on some perfume, and applied basic makeup. As I got up, I picked up my glasses case and made a final decision to throw them in the trash. They were merely for disguise, so I no longer needed them.
- "Looks like someone finally came to their senses," my aunt commented when she saw me. She held out a lunch box, but I refused. She had started preparing them especially for me after hearing that I was avoiding the school cafeteria.
