• Liz's POV
• I writhed in agony for the rest of the night, unable to sleep. There was no magic or medicine that could numb me enough to escape that state. The scourge had been stronger and did not let me pass without inflicting deep torture on my body. The first minutes of daylight were my happiest moments. I could finally close my eyes and rest.
• I usually slept until around lunchtime, but this time I didn't wake up. After all the stress, when I opened my eyes again, it was already night. My stomach was growling loudly when I got up to wash and get dressed.
