Chapter 68
- I hadn't seen him for exactly three days. Lisa's heart was beginning to calm down again. It was Sunday morning, and all I wanted now was to finish a composition I had been working on for the past few weeks. I strummed Preciosa with a persistent melody in my head, but the words escaped my mouth.
- I decided it was time to isolate myself for a few hours, in search of myself. Leaving Preciosa aside, I walked into the forest and started running in my human form, completely ignoring all my thoughts and feelings, as well as Lisa's voice. I trained with her all night long, but her longing for her companion was taking away my desire to do things and my appetite.
- "I can't believe it's still here, and it's intact." I walked around the tent I had set up near the waterfall. There was no sign that it had been used in the meantime.
