• I decided to follow the advice I had received. If I wanted to escape, I had to do it the right way, so the hope of succeeding ignited along with my need to learn and perfect magic. Before, my focus had been on control to stabilize the origins, but as soon as I realized how fun and useful magic could be, a natural passion for it was born within me. For the first time, I felt truly happy to be a witch.
• I took advantage of the loneliest days of the third full moon to study a little more about the light spells I wanted to master. Studying was a way to distract my mind from the worst night so far in terms of the symptoms I had been experiencing during the full moon days.
