Chapter 10

• The days began to pass more quickly. I started attending some band rehearsals as a listener and advisor, pointing out mistakes and making suggestions. Nicolas always listened to me, and so, even if the others didn't always understand, they accepted it.
• Although my closeness to the group had increased, I was still excluded from sports activities. Even when they put me on the teams, they avoided passing the ball to me, and I didn't make any effort to run after it either.
• The first week of exams was over, giving way to the famous group projects. No one but Annie wanted to be in a group with me. That was good, it meant I would have less weight to carry!
