Chapter 69

• The week began almost like any other, the same routine, but with one big difference that came from within me. My feelings were no longer so confused. With my mind clear, I began to sketch notes in one of my music books in my spare time. Even with exams, I managed to balance my studies with my time for composing.
• My memory has always been very good, so I only had to read the material carefully once to do well on the tests. Often, while answering the test questions, I could clearly see the image of the teacher explaining the same content, and this also worked with the books, to the point that I could tell you the chapter and page where the content was.
• The Thursday exam took place in the morning. I took longer to hand in the exam so I could leave with Annie. Morgan quickly approached and walked with us down the hall. She and Annie were discussing the questions. I knew Morgan was complaining directly about the questions, while Annie vaguely argued that they weren't that difficult. In the midst of it all, I remained silent. A soft melody invaded my mind and I couldn't help but smile.
