• Annie accompanied me and waited for me to change. After that, we crossed the garden to leave the school and walked down the street for about ten minutes in complete silence.
• "What do you think of that diner?" I asked Annie, pointing at a rustic brick building with a large sign above the wooden double doors that read: "Parada Certa Diner."
• "The portions aren't very well seasoned, but the dumplings and pies are wonderful."
