• Liz's POV
• I concentrated on reading for a few hours, enjoying the peace and quiet, but soon lost my concentration. My body started to feel hot, as if I were on fire. Uncomfortable with the sensation, I dropped the book and ran to my room. I was panting when I entered.
• "I need to cool off!" I said to myself as I filled the bathtub with cold water. I dove in, hoping to relieve the heat, but it didn't work. I felt sick, a horrible feeling!
