• When I woke up, I went down to the kitchen to get a glass of water and found Marta preparing breakfast. I surprised her with a hug, making her laugh. She remained steadfast with Alpha Clark, both she and her husband, who was among the few guards selected to help with local security until everything was completed.
• I ended up staying and helping her prepare the morning meal and set the table. We sat side by side and waited for the owner of the house to appear. Alpha Clark and Willow arrived together, talking naturally and intimately, each holding one of the babies. I was delighted to witness the scene, but as soon as Alpha Clark noticed my presence, he froze in place.
• Apparently, Willow hadn’t mentioned that I was here, so my presence took him by surprise, leaving him embarrassed. Realizing his intention to move away from Willow in a futile attempt to cover up, I decided to speak up.
