Chapter 108

• Classes on Tuesday would be even worse. It was the day of practical combat class, a class that took up an entire afternoon. Two days in a row at the beginning of the week having to see William's face would destroy my positive emotions for the rest of the week.
• After being kicked out of his class yesterday, I was the target of a lot of gossip today. Instead of simply skipping class and going home, I thought it wiser to hide in the library and spend my time researching. That way, if William was waiting for me again, he would be disappointed.
• My focus of study was the clan rule books. I read each page thoroughly, hoping to find a way to break up with William without being penalized for it. The more I read, the more frustrated I felt. I would probably become an expert in the discipline of clan internal rules before I even had my second class. Still, I wouldn't find what I was looking for.
