Chapter 26

• I woke up early the next day. It was my first time returning to the forest since the incident. I ran with my wolf until I was exhausted, then turned to my bow, which was still hanging from the tree. After successfully retrieving it, I returned home to enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out for the third day of the tournament.
• Unlike the other opponents I had faced throughout the week, the young woman beside me clearly knew what she was doing. She belonged to Alvorada College, and her long, straight brown hair was tied up in a bun. Every subtle movement she made told me that she had been practicing archery since she was a child. I was not wrong!
• The targets were positioned outdoors. As soon as she started warming up, I noticed her impeccable stance. After aiming carefully, her first shot was perfect.
