Chapter 27

• The sun had already begun to rise on the horizon by the time I slipped back into my room. I had almost been caught sneaking into the bathroom. I desperately needed a shower to wash away the strong scentl of my wolf.
• When I stepped out of the bathroom, I noticed an unfamiliar smell of food in the air and walked down the hall to take a peek. The table was set for breakfast and there was an unexpected guest sitting at the table. I pressed the towel tightly against my body as I ran embarrassedly to my room, hoping I hadn't been seen.
• "What is he doing here?" Lisa demanded.
