• My sisters said they would ignore King Lohan, but I did not expect them to take it to such extremes. They did not even give him food or water. Since Willow did not scold them, I decided I needed to take action.
• The seriousness in Lohan's voice was something I was already used to. Someone whose social interactions had been impaired by the curse reacted much more intensely to any approach or physical contact with strangers.
