I assumed he was an instructor because of the variation in the style of his jumpsuit, which had white details and two stars printed on a pocket on the front of his left chest. Inside the pocket was a pen, and in his hand, a clipboard.
• All the students lined up in ten columns facing them. Saulo gestured for me to come closer. As I walked past them, I waved to Liam and Jonathan, who were in the third row, a little further ahead. The expression on their faces was indecipherable.
