Chapter 252
- Wolves and witches behaved very differently. Wolves liked to stay in packs, to run together, and had a strong natural need to find a romantic mate to share their lives with. Witches, on the other hand, preferred to follow their own paths more solitary and rarely joined groups without ulterior motives. They were creatures of one-night stands and rarely became attached to anything or anyone other than their own offspring.
- Contrary to what I thought, I couldn’t find any references to my powers in books about witches. The energy perception that all witches possessed was solely for determining the strength of a male suitable for mating. It was similar to a wolf’s instinct, where the strength of an opponent was determined by instinct.
- It wasn’t that I wanted to stop researching. Still, Éldrim’s books on witches, besides being generic, always described them as disgusting creatures. I couldn’t completely believe that. In my perception, they weren’t that different from humans.
