Chapter 30
- The weather was cloudy, but the cool breeze and the birds flying happily across the sky seemed to indicate that it wouldn't rain today. I sat on the edge of the fountain in the town square and Annie took a seat beside me.
- "Why did you want to come here?" Annie asked.
- "I thought it was a good place to wait." As I had already managed to contain the pain, even if only momentarily, a ray of sunshine dawned on my cloudy mind. It was no longer about me.
