Chapter 19

• Alexis made her way to the female restroom, because her hands were shaking and she could not go out like that, so she needed to calm herself down first. Holding on to the edge of the sink, she looked at herself at the reflection in the mirror. Her face was not looking composed or calm, still filled with shock. She kept pacing trying to take her breaths slowly.
• "Get it together, Alexis," she muttered to herself. “You have no right to be upset."
• She tried to get it off her mind at an instant but the image of Haven and Cassandra kept replaying in her mind. The intimacy of the moment surpassed the compromising position she met then which caught her off guard. She had never seen Haven’s eyes so passionate as that even to her but he saw it towards Cassandra.
