• “Are you honestly committed to following me to class?” my steps slowed as Aiden failed to cut across the lawn to the social sciences faculty, heading straight for the law department. Missing me at his side, he turned to see me standing dumbfounded a few steps behind him. With a heavy sigh, he jutted back towards me, grabbing my wrist and tugging me towards the entrance.
• “My degree is in business administration and there's a course in business and law this semester,” he began while guiding me into the building, heading straight for the winding staircase. “I wanna get a taste of what this corporate law course is about. Get an idea of what I should expect.” He’d spent last night listening to be bitch and moan about today’s first class. I had no idea it would inspire him to accompany me.
