• I stifled my laughter, allowing myself to get caught up in the story. I had been introduced to this animated series by Vera and it had been our guilty pleasure since. I’d raided Draven’s snack cabinet, pleasantly surprised by the range of options from sweet to salty to healthy. I opted for the sweet and salty options and I mixed some caramel corn into a salty chips bag.
• “You seem to be enjoying yourself,” Draven mused, the key jingling between his fingers. I had been so caught up with this episode that I had barely noticed the door open.
