- Some of the most vital intel was sourced by being a fly on the wall. I’ve made enthralling discoveries through over-hearing private conversations. Not to mention how entertaining it always proved for a man of my proclivities. There was a particular satisfaction in discovering another person’s inscrutability when your own remains firmly intact without the promise of compromise. As for today’s eavesdropping; I could have done without it. I certainly could have done without the wickedly sinful images the conversation ignited in my restless mind.
- At some point, I knew the women’s interactions would have benefited from my early interruption but my curiosity won that battle. For my own benefit, I had hoped for context. A wish I should have reneged for I’ve been appraised of more than I cared for. Much more than my sanity was willing to accept.
