• I didn’t think it would be that easy to escape him but a girl had to try. “You expect me to leave with you and I don’t even know your name.” my voice was huskier than I intended but it was a side effect of his body pressed up against my own. There was nothing inherently sexual about the proximity but the sheer proximity in itself had the worse effect on my libido.
• “You’ve heard it before,” he brushed a strand of hair off my face, “Draven.” He breathed the name as if it were a prayer, one meant for my sole use. I looked up into those stormy eyes, my own lowering to gaze longingly at his full lips. His gaze mirrored my own and I swore I saw a muscle bulge at his jaw.
