• Did I expect the class to be characterised by a dominant female presence? Obviously, not. I had not gone through the list of attendees, passing the task of separating the students into groups to one of my men.
• The welcoming reaction was unforeseen and unsurprising in equal regard. I had been met with a similar reaction earlier today as I was introduced to most of the faculty members. It was too strange. Not the attention but rather the scale of it all at once. I had been too accustomed to spending my nights in the shadows that this newest mission felt uneasy.
