• “What do you mean ‘sit down’?” I clutched my bag to my chest, ready to sprint from my seat. My goal had been to blend into the crowd of students vacating the auditorium but Aiden had grabbed my arm, anchoring me down. “the class is over,” I beseeched.
• “Is it?” he rolled his eyes at me playfully, “I wanted to speak to him a bit more. I have some questions,” Aiden’s widening smile embowed me with an urge to knock his teeth out.
