Chapter 67
- *~Draven~*
- Confusion was a strange state of mind to have, especially when the situation that produced it was one I had been an active part of. My interaction with Riley earlier that morning had altered things between us and I hadn’t the slightest indication of how it happened. Nor had it been my intention or within my foresight when I made the decision to return home for things to have changed to such a degree.
- Regretful? Not entirely. I craved her with such fervour that it scared even me and now things have progressed to a state where I can have her. My reservations about our age difference be damned. I wasn’t made of stone. At least not where Riley was concerned. Staying away from her had been torturous and it was unlikely that I would have been successful, especially after I had a taste of her the night of Austin’s engagement party. I had been ruined from that moment on.
