- Impersonating an attorney-at-law seemed too easy. I already had arrogance mastered, which did provide the perfect complement to my knowledge in the area I was assigned to. In this industry, one was doomed to live a million lives. I had lost count of all the men I’d pretended to be. Building a character, a believable one, took time, energy and skill.
