Shen Feng explained to me that it was his efforts in growing the company that had attracted the attention of Nanhe Group. Nanhe Group had since acquired Tongyu Tech and injected more capital to further accelerate the expansion of the company.
Although Shen Feng wasn't as strong as Chenyan from the technical perspective, his previous experience still proved invaluable. The current products made by Tongyu Tech were not that dissimilar to those of Blue Ocean Technologies in terms of features. In fact, Tongyu had an advantage in the mobile devices market.
“Ms. Lin, I know you feel sentimental to Blue Ocean Technologies but you are now our President. I hope that you will put your personal feelings aside when competing with Blue Ocean Technologies.” Shen Feng spoke plainly.
“Mr. Shen, don't worry. I will not do anything that may jeopardize the interests of this company and those of Nanhe Group.”
Perhaps Shen Feng felt guilty for giving me the impression that he doubted my loyalty. I was still his superior and someone who was sent from headquarters.
So he quickly said, “Ms. Lin, I hope you don't mind. I don't mean to offend; I just hope that you will be able to lead us to greater heights.”
