- It was a nurse who entered. She looked at the intravenous bottle and then at me. “Do you feel discomfort anywhere?”
- “Is my baby alright?” I asked urgently.
- “I'm sorry. Your injuries were too serious. You lost the baby. I hope you feel better soon.” The nurse replied with sympathy in her voice.
