Why wait until now?” Tina’s voice stayed mild, but there was ice in it. “Because what you’ve got only proves Chad went to that woman’s hometown. It only proves she came back. It doesn’t prove they met or touched base. So you can only suspect him. And you don’t want Chad to know how paranoid you’ve been. Living like this must be exhausting for both of you.”
