Her brother, seeing she wouldn’t speak, went on, puffed up and pleased with himself: “So yeah, you’ve got no conscience. These past few days, tons of reporters came to find us, told us all this stuff. They’re getting ready to take us to Millsborough to confront you. You’ve been gone for years, made a pile of money, and never once said you’d take us to see what Millsborough looks like. Perfect, we’ll say it to your face. You’ve earned buckets over the years, and Dad and Mom are getting old. They can’t handle the work anymore; I’ll have to support them.
