Chapter 1361 Forget Each Other on the Open Road (Part 1)
- But Chadwick Fullner didn’t see it that way. Whatever Samantha Wembley deserved, he didn’t want to shortchange her one bit. That first wedding had wronged her too much. Now, after everything they’d been through to find their way back to each other, after having kids and becoming a real family, he felt nothing but gratitude. All he wanted was to give her more—so much more.
- “So here’s what I’m thinking. I already do wedding planning—and I make them personal. I can totally meet what both of us want and give her a unique, meaningful wedding without making a big splash.” Chadwick laid out his idea slowly. “When it comes to me and her, it’s really just us—and the kids. It’s our business, no one else’s. So I figured the wedding should be just for us, too. I’m going to wait till she’s feeling steadier and then make it up to her with a wedding.”
- Yasmin Langston was quiet for a long beat before she said, “You’re not wrong. Good or bad, it’s a lifetime, and only you two are living it. The more we outsiders butt in, the more we might mess with your own judgment. But either way, as your friend, I still gotta say this: wish you two a long life together, hearts tied as one. If you need help with the wedding, just say the word. I’m not an outsider to you or Samantha. And hey, I should be calling her sister-in-law anyway. My kid can’t be your flower boy, but his dad can be your muscle and run errands.”
