Chapter 1202 Two People (XI)

  • Malcom Sawyer had guessed right on the money. Chadwick Fullner and Madison Sawyer mapped out every step, then suddenly announced the Commercial Advisory Center plan and, at the same time, promoted a batch of solid performers who’d been stuck in mid-level posts with no shot for years. The old guard on the board blew up on the spot. Even Madison’s assistant—a usually sharp, capable girl—came in trembling to report, “Ms. Collins, the board members have big issues with your new decision. They say you’re targeting them. They’re all filing complaints.”
  • “It’s fine. Let them talk. No reform ever gets everyone’s vote,” Madison said, calm as ever. “If they think I’m targeting them, it’s because they happen to fit the criteria. Tell them if they have any good ideas or suggestions, they’re welcome to bring them to me directly, or email me.”
  • The assistant left with a bitter look. Chad grinned. “Not bad, Sawyer. Ice-cold. Kind of giving ‘bossy CEO’ energy. Keep that aura. When you face them, remember one line: all counterrevolutionaries are paper tigers.”
