Chapter 1306 Busking (IV)

  • Normally, once a romance goes public in showbiz, it kicks up a storm—sometimes even a heavy backlash. For someone like Tina to receive nothing but blessings, all in one voice, almost never happens. Part of it is because of the false accusations she suffered and the rough road she walked—people ache for her. And Tina has kept a spotless image for years, no gossip at all. She’s careful and self-disciplined, so everyone hopes she finds a love that’s real and happy.
  • No one knew that, off to the side, Madison Sawyer dropped her luggage. It thumped to the floor, and her face went white. The shop manager rushed over, scooped up her bags, and chuckled, “These are pretty heavy. Boss, want me to throw them in the car for you?”
  • Madison shook her head, almost robotic, eyes locked on the TV. The last shot showed Tina tugging Chadwick Fullner away in a hurry. The manager didn’t get it, still smiling. “Boss, you like Miss Belinda too, huh? We all adore her. Finally some news about her—and right here in Hudsontown. Boss, once you’re back, you might even run into her.”
