Chapter 937 A Father's Ailment (Part Eight)
- Chadwick Fullner found himself at a loss for words. How could he possibly convey to his father that he had clearly communicated to Madison Sawyer on multiple occasions that their relationship could not progress any further? Yet, despite his efforts, Madison Sawyer remained steadfast in her refusal to let go. He hesitated to say more, fearing that his words might upset Madison Sawyer and lead to her departure. Chadwick Fullner redirected the conversation to his father's health, avoiding further discussion on the matter at hand.
- "My condition is not dire. I've lived a full life, but you, you have much ahead of you," Chadwick Fullner's father sighed deeply.
