Chapter 1303 Busking (Part 1)

• Chadwick Fullner and Tina both froze. They hadn’t expected to hear that. The sanitation worker was already up there in years, working this late on such a cold night—hard enough as it was. But behind that was an even sadder story.

• The sanitation worker wiped the corner of his eye and sighed. “We only have the one girl. We don’t have much money, but as long as the family’s together and at peace, that’s enough. Then, just after she turned twenty and started her first job, out of nowhere—brain hemorrhage. They pulled her back, but now she’s paralyzed in bed. Can’t move at all. My wife and I were both retired. Now she stays home to care for our girl, and I take odd jobs, anything I can, to earn a bit more.
