Chapter 1237 Thanksgiving (Twenty-Five)
- A lot happened over Thanksgiving that Chadwick Fullner knew nothing about. As soon as the holiday ended, he dove straight back into the grind. Finn’s family ran a business themselves, had solid connections, and with their own groundwork, they started landing orders bit by bit. Over at Jiajia, the theme Keith Branwell planned for Thanksgiving crushed it—better than the goal Chadwick had set back then. Company performance hit the mark he wanted, so of course he held a commendation meeting and paid out every bonus he’d promised. Honestly, when he gave Keith that assignment, he meant to push him. He also knew the wedding was coming up and Keith needed money, so he chose this way to help him without making a big deal of it. In the end, it was a win-win. Jiajia’s numbers really climbed, Keith got what he deserved, and most of all, everyone could see it plain as day: Keith was changing, settling down, and stepping up.
- To Chadwick, everything was moving, steadily, in the right direction. He was busier and more exhausted, sure, but he stayed fired up because he had a clear plan in his head: around New Year, once they pulled the funds back from Jiajia and added a bank loan—or maybe consider financing or a joint venture with Donnie Burns—he’d set up the logistics hub. He knew he owed Donnie, so he was seriously weighing a partnership with him. And once the logistics base was up, the day-to-day ops would probably go to Baldie. Chadwick himself wanted to step back, spread the operations out to specific people, and launch the wedding-planning studio Madison Sawyer had once dreamt up. The point wasn’t to turn it into some big business, but to make Madison’s idea real and prep something beautiful for their wedding.
- By then, Regal Peaks would be fully on track, the heavy lifting done, and it’d be time to reap the fruit of love. For Chadwick, everything he was doing now was aimed at that final goal.
