Chapter 1190 Who Belongs to Whom (Part 14)
- The waiter took their order to the kitchen, ran into the manager on the way, and handed it over. The manager glanced at it and froze. “Huh? I stocked fresh oysters and abalone—just delivered—and even air-freighted Aussie lobsters. And they didn’t order any? Should’ve saved myself the hassle.”
- They ate and chatted. Chad’s thoughtfulness was on full display—peeling shrimp, picking out spicy bits, pouring tea, handing over napkins. Through the whole meal, he barely ate; he spent more time taking care of Emily. With everyone there, Emily felt a little self-conscious, but Chad moved so naturally that after blushing for a bit, she just smiled and let him fuss over her. Yasmin watched, green with envy, cleared her throat on purpose. Keith knew exactly what she meant. He dropped his chopsticks, bowed his head, and dutifully started peeling shrimp for Yasmin. While he worked, he shot Chad a wry look. “Man, you’re ruthless. Flaunt your love like that and you just raised the bar on our service standards.”
- “What do you mean flaunting? That’s the real deal,” Yasmin shot Keith a glare, then her gaze slid to Madison Sawyer. She called out, “Xiaoxiao, why aren’t you making Chad wait on you?”
