Chapter 1130 Interlude (Nine)
- Yasmin knew Keith Branwell was saying she should go only because guilt had been gnawing at him and he was terrified of dragging her down. But her own hurt had nowhere to go. She’d waited for years, only to be cut open by him again. She thought she could let it go—turns out she couldn’t. After all this back-and-forth, she was exhausted. The accident forced her to reevaluate what she and Keith had, to actually think about getting back together. She’d hoped that after he woke up, the two of them could have a quiet, honest talk, just the two of them. The last thing she expected was for him to open his eyes and tell her to go home. She might look fierce, but she was still just a woman. She’d been taking care of him because her feelings hadn’t faded. And now, with Keith telling her to leave, it felt like someone yanked out every last shred of pride and stubbornness she’d been holding up. What reason did she have to stay?
- Keith got so worked up his voice went thick. “Yasmin, I want you here… Don’t be mad…” He saw Yasmin packing through tears, and even Chadwick Fullner couldn’t pull her back. Panicked, Keith tried to force himself upright to grab her.
- Madison Sawyer yelped, “Keith!”
