• “Damn it! Him again?” Baldie’s temper flared the second he heard Zhen Mingjie’s name. “Should’ve finished him last time. Now he’s working us over from the shadows, and look at your buddy—all that damage is on him.”
• “Too late to talk about that. And even if we had crippled him, with his family backing, we’d pay for it big time. I’m not dragging you into that.” Chadwick clapped Baldie’s shoulder. “But I’m not swallowing this either, so we hit back. Bring the girls in. I’ll pick.”
