CHAPTER 29: THE BIRTH OF EROS

  • Some would say that some things happen for the better, that it is a must to come affront to prevent more damage, more destruction, and ruins. However, there are unavoidable storms, which remain uncured. Nightmares of the past, amid the baffled scenes without any explanations. The sight beheld which some failed to distinguish whether they are real or just dreams.
  • That’s what she feel continuously. There are faces in a hazy blur whereas she would dreamt of. Late at night, her eyes would fluttered open only to find out that she was somewhere else, far from the home she knew. Far from the realm she grew up with or so she thought.
  • Another night. Another misery visits her again. Breathing hardly, she sits up quickly—eyes both wide, and orbs tormented by the bloodshed and war she was allowed to see. To pry among, but never had she was given the chance, nor the power to help. The poor souls call. Men beg. Women carried their sons, and their daughters as they cries. It was disturbing, unnerving as their visage are clear, except of that man, who always filled her head intrigue, curiosity she could not even fulfil.
