Chapter 113 DEAD BODIES
- Sirens blared one late afternoon, disturbing the silence on that Monday. The roads in a clamor as it bustled. The vehicle is roaring, the sound in a high-pitched that could have made one ear bleed [metaphorically]. People wonder. What could have been the problem? What could have been the rushed, lost, venturing as they sought for an answer, but what they sought led to a scenario they had never expected. The tomorrow we woke up from had never been so promising. Locked doors. A lost soul, who beg to be saved lay on the road coughing, but nobody dared stop. They were beyond salvation.
- Dead bodies loitered. Some rotten to the core as I watched with horror.
- “What happened, Anna?” Sam would ask, but my mind would go blank.
