Chapter 59 The Price

• His creation stood before him, ready to do his bidding. Now that he knew what he could achieve, he would move quickly to finish the task at hand. He moved onto the next body, laying it flat on the table. He started the process again, and soon another corpse animated. This was going faster than he thought it would. Soon, every single body in here would be fully under his control. Then he heard the deputy waking up. He had surprised Deputy Emma Vicks by catching her off guard. She was gagged and glaring at the lawyer until she saw he was doing her anger turned into fear. He told her if she screamed that she wouldn’t live long enough by showing her the famished corpses that he had already reanimated. This got her attention, so she wouldn’t say another word not even making a sound. He spoke to her softly making his point more creepy then she was finally allowed to speak without her losing her life.
• "Why did you bring me here? What is it you want from me?" the girl asked cautiously. Welch grinned wickedly at her before he slowly approached her. She looked at him warily, eyeing his every move. "I am going to need some help taking care of a few things that this town deserves," He then grabbed a book, its pages filled with knowledge that was never meant for innocent eyes to ever see. "I know you are mad at Gerrit for choosing Bianca and I know you want revenge. This is your chance.”
