Chapter 51 History Lesson

  • Gerrit woke up from slumber beside him. Bianca was beside him, half of her hugging him, but the other half draped over him. His eyes went over to the clock across the room, seeing it was nearly two in the afternoon. He was surprised that he even woke up at this hour, considering how many hours he had been up and on the go. He slipped out from underneath her, then put on his pair of boxers, though he would rather walk around with nothing on, but not today. There was some old coffee downstairs, but he wouldn’t waste it. He looked at himself in the mirror; he couldn’t help but smile briefly. Legends and myths said vampires didn’t have a reflection. He could see himself as plain as day; his hair was disheveled from engaging in animalistic, wild sex last night. Though his hair was longer than most, he kept it a certain way. Amazingly, as tired as he was, coming home, he had one thing on his mind, and that was to ravish his wife, which is exactly what he did. He had taken a few blood packets from the fridge, and after four emptied packets, he felt more like himself. He made her a fresh cup of coffee before slipping back upstairs. Surprisingly, as towering as he was, he hardly made a sound. It was one of the few good things about being a vampire, though there was a time he resented it, not because he regretted anything. The fact was things were changing, and he, at times, felt he was stuck in the past. The door wasn't completely wide open, but he was able to lean against the frame and watched her as she slept. Most of her body was exposed, revealing how beautiful her skin was. Even though her skin was much lighter than what it was when she was alive, he was still mesmerized by her beauty. He watched while she moved a little, hugging onto the pillow; her skin was soft and smooth while her honey blended with umber and walnut hair cascaded past her shoulders, covering what the blanket didn't. Bianca began to stir, but she knew she wasn't alone either. She opened her eyes for a moment before looking over at the door and seeing Gerrit watching her closely. “Morning,” she said in a groggy but still sexy husky voice. He was setting her coffee on the nightstand before he said anything to her, “Morning, my beautiful pet.” While he was kissing her, she wrapped her arms around his neck, though he wouldn't mind laying back down and having her all over again; it was dangerous to be this near her sensual naked flesh, and he could feel himself getting harder. Once she had her fill of tasting his sensual, full lips, it was only then that she was able to let him go. She propped herself up with her elbows, smiling as she watched him walk away from her; there was no denying how sexy he was or that he was hers. Her eyes took in his muscular frame while she appreciated every inch of him.

  • "What are the plans for today, my love?" her voice no longer sounded sleepy but instead more like a purr. He was putting on his pair of black pants, but he couldn't help but tease her. "Well, my love, I was hoping we could go out tonight, but for now, I need to swing by my place before I do anything else. I have a few things there that I need."
