• After their discussion, Ambrose left, finding himself back on the ranch. He knew what he had to do; getting back to the ranch, he went ahead and set up the artifacts so that Niklaus wouldn't overuse his abilities. And then came the most complicated part: finding someone who could read the language in the journal and hold their tongue. Who could they trust? He would think about it later as he settled down for the night, hoping to get some sleep before the day was over.
• Ambrose woke up right before the sun came out for the day. He had two things on his mind: talking to Bianca's father and finding someone trustworthy to translate his sister's journal. The second thing he had to do was activate the barrier so the artifacts would not be exposed. Now that the secret was revealed about why no one from the town dared to move outside because their lives would be at stake. With this newfound information, Ambrose knew he had to act quickly before anyone else found out. The Cavern was still hidden behind a waterfall, and he made sure to keep it that way. As he entered, he took a moment to marvel at the beauty of the place. It was truly a miracle that these artifacts were still here, waiting for someone to use them. He lit the candle, as the others quickly came to life. He poured the oil into the ancient bowl, and then, as he moved his fingers into the oil, it wasn't long before a portal was formed. Bianca's father kept his location hidden; to Ambrose's knowledge, this was the safest way to contact this man. The portal led him to a secluded area where no one would find them. Once there, he waited for the man to appear. A few moments later, Bianca's father finally stepped out of the portal; he saw Ambrose's face etched with concern. "What's going on? I sensed your urgency."
