Chapter 21 Playing The Part

• She looked at him, "I have some time to spare, but I don't have all day, either."
• The other women in the office were gawking at the man who had come here to see the boss lady, and they couldn't believe someone as handsome as he, who had an almost perfect smile, would want to see their boss who hardly ever smiled. Viviana rarely smiled, let alone ever looked relaxed, even as she walked towards her office, passing a few of the workers along the way and heading to the meeting room, which was down the hall. She walked much like a predator on the hunt. She didn't lose her stride even in heels, just like she was on a mission. Finally, she reached the meeting room, which was one of three. This one was more private and very well secured, no one was allowed in here except for her, and no one in the office had ever seen the room. She held the door open for Gabriel once he stepped in. She immediately closed the door, and it wasn't just a room. This was the one area where she could be herself with everything upgraded, the highest quality surveillance, and the best commodities. She went over to the bar, where she fixed another cup of coffee, and without looking back, she asked him if he wanted anything before he started talking.
