• He finally had to admit to himself that it wasn't the fact she didn't come back home, but she wasn't here when they and when he needed her the most. Rather than blaming the one who had kidnapped his fiancee, he truly was taking it out on Natalya. Natalya could feel the anger leaving her brother as she spoke calmly and lightly, "I still love you, brother, like the day you were trying to learn to climb and were about to fall. I caught you, and I didn't let you fall. I wasn't here to catch you like I did then. I am sorry for that, and I hope you and Santiago will forgive me one day. I am here and will not let you or anyone else fall. I know what I did was wrong, and I will try to make it right, however long it takes.

Even though Ramirez was the youngest of the triplets, he was the more mature of the three.

However, with a burst of energy, she leaped ahead of them, knocking them down and taking the lead and winning by reaching the door first. Her father cracked a smile, "That was cheating Natalya."
