Chapter 58 Phase One

• Ambrose moved quickly back to where Yuri and Niklaus were to be waiting for him. Hopefully, the translator made it to Bianca, and she hadn’t been harmed or killed in her escape. Once he reached the two brothers, they could see there was no time to talk, but they were close behind Ambrose. They didn't see Bianca's father or the translator, so then they knew something had happened. They could see with their own eyes how beaten up Ambrose was, along with the dried blood on his face and clothes. Ambrose looked at his nephews and said, "We need to get to Bianca now!"
• The three printed as fast as they could towards the longhouse where Bianca and the others were. When they arrived, Isadora met them outside the room where Bianca lay with her newborn baby boy. She informed them that Bianca had her baby and that mother and son were resting. Right before he could let them know about the danger that was coming, the translator started knocking on the back door. In her hands were the books; then, everyone in the room could see the fear in her eyes. Bianca was sitting up in bed while Gerrit was cradling her child. There was a knock at the door. It was Caelan letting them know there was urgent news. All eyes were on, watching and listening to Ambrose as he began speaking about earlier events. Once Ambrose was done, the room was silent; no one even blinked. Bianca closed her eyes, not wanting to believe that her father had been killed, but seeing the blood and for Lenora, the translator validated most of everything until the part where she entered the portal. Her husband, who stood protectively beside her, and their child. "Welch had to have been the one to conjure up the Strega; that would explain why he had been silent this long." She could only imagine what kind of sick games Welch had been playing. But it confirmed her thoughts. "It wasn't an accident when my father was murdered," she said aloud, shocking everyone else in the room.
