• There are two options...
• I had two options: either stand firm and try to prove the nurse was poisoning me, or turn around and go back to my room. I stood in front of Nico and Luc, silently considering my options. Sure, I could make a break for it and try to push past Luc and Nico to continue my search, but I was almost certain it would fail. Luc or Nico would either catch up to me before I could even run past them, or if I was lucky enough to slip past these two formidable vampires, it would only be a matter of seconds before they caught up with me. If I was lucky, I might be able to open one door before being apprehended, sedated, and dragged back to my room.
