Chapter 48

• My mind disassociated itself from physical reality, and I found myself floating in familiar darkness. It was the same darkness I'd felt the night I died, when my spirit lingered between the worlds of the living and the worlds of the dead. While my bleeding body lay dying on the bathroom floor, my spirit was trapped in this limbo, waiting to either cross over or be dragged back to the land of the living.
