Chapter 41
- The faint thrum of helicopter blades could be heard in the distance high above in the dark night sky. Luc made a motion to Nico, who was still directing the prison guards. Nico came over to us and waited for Luc's command.
- "Take Mia back to the palace and have the doctor examine her," Luc suggested.
- "Are you not coming with me?" I asked, sitting up in his arms.
