Chapter 84

• Around two in the morning, I woke up suddenly, feeling scared and agitated, so I turned on the light on my nightstand. There was no one in my room but me, I was sure I had felt someone sit on my bed, I was sure I had felt someone touch me. The window was open, a cold breeze was coming in, giving me chills. I got up and looked out the window, the forest was dark, there was no moon, the sky was cloudy.
• The trees were swaying back and forth. I looked at Kayler's house, it was dark, I admitted that I missed him a lot, I wished to be with him again, to be Kayler and Carolina again. I missed sleeping with him in my bed at night, I felt so protected and warm, but now I am sleeping alone.
• Kayler doubted me. He didn't listen to me. He only believed what he wanted to believe and left, leaving me, shattered, alone, facing things. I started to value myself these months to realize that what he did was wrong and unforgivable. I would never have cheated on him, I was raped and pictures were taken of me. And he wasn't there to protect me.
